Fraunhofer Energy Efficiency and Smart City Networking Days

28 – 29 November 2013

Final Conference of the Me3Gas Project

28 November 2013

The Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology FIT helps to shape the future with novel, market-oriented products. Our specific strength is a comprehensive system design process, from test and validation of concepts to the handover of well-implemented systems. Current activities focus on adaptive energy efficiency trough smart monitoring and control of energy consumption in business based systems.

As underlying software infrastructure, the LinkSmart Middleware establishes a sophisticated and continuously refined foundation for our future research and development efforts.

The EE Days at Fraunhofer FIT provide participants from research and industry to learn more about joint-research opportunities with potential consortium partners under the light of the Horizon 2020 EU Research Program.

Motivating introductory talks about the topic areas of Energy Efficiency and Smart Cities frame the envisioned directions for strengthening existing networks and exploring future collaborations.

A Networking Café intends to bring together all participants that are interested in common topics in a quick and lightweight manner. Later in-depth conversation is an essential part of the adjacent evening buffet that is accompanied by an exhibit filled by research and industry partners.

Success stories and additional information about the EU-related goals of the Horizon 2020 Program round the agenda.

The Networking Days feature the Final Conference of the Me3Gas project on the project's challenges and achievements in the scope of smart metering, smart cities and middleware perspectives. The Me3Gas project was launched within the ARTEMIS program in with the aim of developing and integrating smart gas meters for embedded energy efficient services. Additional information can be found on the project website www.me3gas.eu.

The Me3Gas conference starts on Thursday, 28 November at 9.00, the official Networking days at 12.30.

Interested visitors are welcome to both events. If you plan to attend, please register via our contacts if not done already.
