Dr. rer.nat. Marina Kolesnik

About me

After completing my studies in physics and engineering, I took a doctorate in computer science with the topic "automatic stereoreconstruction". I started my professional career at the Moscow Space Research Institute where I developed a camera-based navigation for a Mars Rover mission. Afterwards, I worked in various IT areas on the topics of digital image and video analysis, cognitive robotics, biologically motivated image analysis, and most recently IT solutions and cloud-based services for medicine. My main task is the conception and management of EU projects. Since 2005, I have been coordinating six EU projects:
