About me

I studied language, literature and cultural studies at the Technical University of Dresden with a focus on "teaching and learning foreign languages" and "intercultural communication". Since then I have worked as a university lecturer in German language and literature institutes at various universities, such as the Victoria University Wellington, the National University of Ireland Galway and the University College London. In London, I also coordinated the DAAD Lecturer-Program for Ireland and Great Britain at the local branch of the German Academic Exchange Service.

Coming back to Germany, a DAAD-scholarship brought me to the University of Cologne, where I helped to develop digital courses of the university’s teacher training program. I am now continuing this at FIT: since September 2019, I have been working as an (e-)learning specialist in the area of data science. My main tasks are, e.g. the implementation of courses on a didactic-educational level and the development of ideas and concepts in line with a Fraunhofer Learning Experience Design.
