Presseinformation /

The European Japan Experts Association, known as EJEA, will hold its annual conference virtually on the 24th – 25th of November. The conference is free of cost and participants are welcome to submit their research results in form of papers, posters or workshops.

While concentrating on “innovation and action for managing urgent future local and global issues and domains in Japan and Europe” this year, EJEA aims to connect and strengthen the collaboration between Japanese and European experts and citizens from research institutes, universities, organizations, companies, public administrations and governments. The conference is determined to provide a forum for educational, research, economic and technological purposes whilst encouraging the young generation to apply resulting measures in their home countries.

Being able to join online, participants will have the chance to witness keynote speeches, lectures and poster sessions in order to engage in open discussions and workshops addressing future megatrends, economic interconnectedness, enabling technology and climate change. Analyzing innovative solutions and actions on local and global perspectives will be in focus when it comes to finding new work patterns and education structures in cultural and social sight.

As of this year, Fraunhofer FIT will be hosting the conference alongside the organizers EJEA, Linköping University and Riken and is supported by the Japanese-German Center Berlin (JDZB), German Research Ambassadors Network for Industrial Technology Endeavors (GRANITE), Institute for Security and Development Policy (ISDP) and the Kagawa University.
